Scott Cook was recently voted in as Southside's new Senior Pastor. Before becoming the pastor, Scott and his wife, Jen, served in the student ministry at Southside Baptist Church for 6 years. Scott was born and raised in the DFW area before attending Pensacola Christian College in Florida. There he met his wife, Jennifer and graduated with a master’s degree in Bible Exposition.  They have two children, Cameron and Samantha.

Keith and Kathy Taylor have served at Southside for a total of 45 years. They served in the youth ministry for 11 years before being called to Central Baptist Church in Lewisville, TX. In 1986, the Lord led Pastor Keith and Kathy back to Southside to serve in the senior pastorate for 34 years before just recently retiring. They continue to be actively involved by serving in various ministries and  play a vital role in the church.
